A Privileged Guest
When I photograph a wedding, I consider myself to be a privileged guest who has been given the honour of creating a photographic memoir of this momentous occasion. I find that blending in with guests, as opposed to just being your wedding photographer, puts everyone at ease and the result is splendid photographs that convey the sentiments of the day, naturally. You will often find me chatting with guests, enjoying a meal between clicks or dancing up a storm as I capture some awesome photographic memories that you will enjoy for a lifetime.
Timeless Treasures
Weddings offer the most amazing possibilities when it comes to photographing precious, unforgettable moments as a couple celebrates the beginning of their lives together. My desire is to create timeless treasures by capturing both “big” and “small” moments that are shared between a couple and their loved ones. Some of the most unique photographs that I have taken at weddings are ones that were taken in the moments that often go unnoticed. I love the power photographs have to take people back in time in an instant. Even those who were not present feel like they were there through these timeless treasures.
Nothing Missed
The beautiful moments of a much anticipated wedding day pass by so quickly. This is why as a photographer, telling the whole story of your wedding day means a lot to me and I don’t like to miss anything! This is why I provide a complete package that includes everything from getting ready for your special day, the ceremony, all the in-between events and of course the celebration afterwards.
Creating Memories for a Lifetime
l take great care to highlight special moments like the anticipation and excitement felt by the bride and groom as they prepare for their wedding day. Using lighting and creative composition tools like leading lines, reflections and the rule of thirds helps me create intriguing photos. Ultimately, the love shared on this day is what creates memories for a lifetime, no matter how you wine and dine or if there is rain or shine!
Creative Couple Portraits
I derive great pleasure from creatively bringing life to portraits that express your personalities. Taking portraits of just the two of you (if you would like them) will give you a chance to enjoy 15 minutes alone away from the crowd. This fun and relaxed session with minimal direction is a great way for you both to create some private memories.
Your Favourite People
Many of your closest family and friends will have come from far and wide to share this day with you, making it all the more special. I really love to capture the essence and personality of each member of the wedding party so you can remember how your favourite people enhanced your wedding day.
Formal Group Photographs
Although formal group photographs are not my favourite and you won’t see family group photos on my website, I have taken group formals at every wedding. They are important keepsakes and I have plenty of galleries to share with you when we meet. Group formals are a great way to have a record of close family and friends who were there to share in your big day and you will really appreciate it when go down ‘memory lane’. These pictures take about 15 minutes on the day and we discuss which family formals you would like taken when we meet before the wedding day.
Nothing Forgotten
Wedding details are the result of you taking the time to arrange something that is special to you. They often are reflections of your passions and are an important part of what makes your wedding unique and deserve to be remembered through some spectacular photographs.
Wedding Fun!
Weddings are lots of fun and I think that planning should be too. That’s why our time together starts with a relaxed meeting for a coffee or perhaps a glass of wine. We then follow up with some Skype calls to clarify things leading up to your wedding day. The fun lasts well after your wedding until you receive your much anticipated photos and are ready to design your wedding album (if you would like one).
